Treehouses Offer Unique Stay in Red River Gorge
SLADE, Ky. (WYMT) - Django Kroner moved to the Red River Gorge when he was 19-years-old to pursue rock climbing, a popular activity in the Gorge. It was during that time Kroner decided to move up, literally. He built a treehouse. "When you're spending time in a treehouse, you're constantly thinking about 'Oh I could add this' or, you know, you're getting a lot of ideas," said Kroner. The Canopy Crew: Treehouse company builds rental in Red River Gorge
A Cincinnati-based treehouse company, The Canopy Crew, wants people to experience the Red River Gorge in a whole new way.
The company's founder, Django Kroner, spent three years living in a treehouse he built on a friend's plot of land in the Gorge. It was an experience that forever changed his life.
