The Canopy Crew started as a tree care business with goals to add on tree house construction and tree house rental segments to the business. About 10 years ago, Django Kroner moved to Red River Gorge in Stanton, Kentucky, to pursue rock climbing. He worked as an apprentice for a carpenter that built cabins, spent much of his free time rock climbing and lived in a tree house that he built.
