Cincinnati man takes treehouses to the next level
When you hear the word treehouse, you may picture a small, easy-to-build house in the backyard.
Cincinnati native Django Kroner is changing that idea one treehouse at a time in Kentucky's Red River Gorge.
"The gorge is to Cincinnatians ... a total hidden gem," Kroner said.
A quick trip down the Mountain Parkway opens the gates to a new kind of Cut in the Hill, one that brings you to the lush trees of the Red River Gorge and through the jaw-dropping Nada Tunnel.
"When you come down here, you can totally immerse yourself in nature," Kroner said. The immersion is pretty easy when staying at one of his treehouses.
"We put a lot of love and craftsmanship into these, and they're pretty epic," Kroner said.
